Betsy Cairo

Betsy Cairo PhD, HCLD, CSE, – is a Reproductive Biologist teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses at local universities from 1995 to 2017. She emphasizes Reproductive Health through a variety of classes including Human Sexuality, Drug Abuse, and Human Disease. Dr. Cairo has worked in the field of reproductive medicine for over 25 years. She founded CryoGam Colorado, LLC, in 1990, where she remains the director and owner. Dr. Cairo’s experience both in the field and in the classroom have fueled her passion and created a vision for educating Colorado’s youth, its educators and its communities. Because of this passion she formed Look Both Ways in 2006. Look Both Ways is a 501c3 dedicated to the area of comprehensive reproductive health education. Dr. Cairo is a board certified Reproductive Biologist from the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as a High Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD). She is also a Certified Sexuality Educator and Supervisor(CSE-s) by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapist (AASECT).
